FAQ's
Q: What are the requirements for obtaining a pawn loan?
A: You must provide a valid state issued picture ID. You must be at least 18 years of age and provide an item of value in good working condition. The item must be your property to legally pledge it.
Q: What are the terms of a pawn transaction?
A: Loans are generally written for 60 or 90days; extensions are available with a monthly interest payment. A payment of at least one month’s interest must be paid to keep the loan current. You retain the right to redeem your pledged items if all these terms have been met and your account is in good standing. You have no obligation to redeem any pledged item.
Q: Is there a limit to the total amount I can borrow from Cash Pawn?
A: The limit of one single item of collateral is $14,250.00. This limit is set by Texas Office Of Consumer Credit Commissioner. While our Average Loan is $125.00, your loan can be for more or less, depending on need and merchandise value. Also there is no limit to the amount of loans you may have at any given time.
Q: If I do not redeem, pay interest or extend my loan, what happens?
A: By Texas State Law, your items become the legal property of the lender (pawn broker).
Q: What are the methods of payments to be able to redeem or extend my loan?
A: Cash or Debit Card (Pin Entry Required)
Q: Can I make interest payments by mail?
A: Yes, by money order.
Q: Can another person redeem my items without my knowledge?
A: Yes. By law, a third party can redeem your items, but must possess the original pawn ticket, present a valid ID, and pay-off the loan in full. Therefore, it is in your best interest to keep your ticket in a safe place. To avoid fraud, don't lose or misplace your pawn ticket. If you lose your pawn ticket notify us immediately.
